What if we stopped

What if we stopped
wedging ourselves into tight small minded spaces which don’t fit our shape at all
What if we stopped
adjusting our exceptional voice to the almost unbearable colourless noise around us swallowing our inner cravings
What if we stopped
chasing shapeless dreams which do not belong to us, constructed by others to fit us in the crowd of the mindlessly trotting sheeple
What if we stopped
being silent where its essential that our voices are heard
What if we stopped
sheltering ourselves from the rain instead of sensing the relief of drops running down our skin dried out by the failed exposure to the power of the forces
What if we stopped
screaming unheard and desperate in a space continuously turning in circles without ceasing for one short moment to make the slightest effort to look behind the Behind
What if we stopped
hammering on walls of cold ignorance and freezing lack of kindness instead of realising this is not the door there is another path for us
What if we stopped
walking on the crammed road to a goal of planned out pin points forcing us to be pushed with the crowd but not taking the trail less travelled
What if we stopped
pulling that cape of grey invisibility over us instead of just ripping it off and dancing in the cloudburst of our own bright gleaming colours
What if we stopped
trying to stay afloat in the restless waters of limbo but turn on our back, let ourselves glide on the tranquil steady current and gaze to the infinity of the stars
What if we stopped
murmuring unharmonious dreary tunes instead of just crying out the vivid bright melody of our destinies
What if we stopped
staring concerned in the rocky abyss of our deepest fears but just closed our eyes, take a deep breath and dare the leap of faith into our very personal freedom
What if we stopped
wearing the rugged, dull, dusty dressing of our past instead of just tearing them to liberate the uniqueness and wonderful weirdness of our being
What if we … What if we…. What if we ….
just dared to be Happy!
